You listen to the band's weeping guitar
While nightfall provides a privacy shroud

Holding hands throughout the bustling crowd

Sitting in the back of your rag top car
The night more perfect than should be allowed

Taking her to a coffee shop or bar
With her clinging to your arm, you're so proud

Running to your love you see from afar
