I Wrote In Mind/ A Poem Today



I wrote in mind
a poem today
Now it is forgotten
Like so much dust
Its disappearance
Means nothing to anyone
But myself.

I write this poem now
A lesser poem
To understand again
The best of what I do
Most likely will be
Forgotten.
