I Wrote Many Poems/I Myself Did Not Understand

I WROTE MANY POEMS/ I MYSELF COULD NOT UNDERSTAND

I wrote many poems
I myself could not understand
They came to me
With a music of their own
And I wrote them down

Later trying to understand them
I corrected them
Into a certain sense
Not always knowing
That I was right
In what I had written

And whether the poems
The poems that had come
The poems that had been corrected
All I am
Had in fact been
Allright.

Poems are of two kinds. One is instant. Other is to be hatched out. The first one normally needs no corrections. The pulse of poet nicely expressed. Thank you.
