Icarus ((The Sad Winter of Willow Cheer)) *FULL POEM*

*BEST READ BY TWILIGHT S LAST GLEAMING OR DAWN S EARLY LIGHT*
A.D.2013
1.
Scaffolds of trash
mountain
molehill
morning

the cold night is matadors
meteor herds pass by
lampooning likewise dreams
for fourteen years

2.
im running out of walls
i need less air
others must flee
i cannot look at function
the filth putrefies to armor
i ride a still boxcar to terrestrial Hell

3.
the sky has stretched this morning
a fat, clean, blue hallway
stuffed with air
where did i sleep?

not in clovers

all the limpid $h! t happens outside this battered cube
NOTHING GOOD EVER HAPPENS HERE

4.
I dance with a green girl each day
after taking wing each night
to chase a blue queen
who lives in a yellow desert

no-one admires my home-made pinions

i am Willow Cheer

so HAPPY to see you again

5.
the geometry of my discontent is too torrid
there is no art in such sheer maladaption

a sad masterpiece

a jagged puzzle

with its sideward lattice a blocky distraction of linear peace

a shape benighted of sides
a sloppy life lived by an herbal solider

6.
when i sleep
i face a stack of ashes

when you sleep
you face tangy tomorrows

your ghost is a dragon i chase everywhere

a grand prix
behind my own eyes

7.
i feel a permafrost growing

from my garden of cold

*Willow, are you afraid of the elements? *

and Willow Cheer says nothing

and Willow Cheer does drugs to smile

8.
Dont take my solitude!

i need myself more than noise

their noise
dull, cross, idiot noise

certain noises are my brides
others may just as well deafen

9.
CLOSE THE CELLAR

10.WARNING

i
am
not
afraid
to make
all of you
SAD

11.Waiting for my ICED tea
to get COLD
Willow Cheer turns
on the AIR conditioner

12.
im sorry that your truth is a lie
i cannot alter the shape of illusion
I am no WIZARD

13.
TIMES ARE BAD

i can taste them

i should be afraid

but worry is a baneful opiate

14.
my factory
is on FIRE with sound
i hope
no-one HELPS

15.
Willow Cheer laughs best alone
but laughs loudest with only those
louder than he

16.
ive been told that
prohibition has been lifted

TAKE THE VEIL
and toast to racket

17.
i
will
only
beg
to
a
person
nice

18.
if not a tear be shed on a age of this book
let it and my heart be set in the tar
like the rest of the
STONES

19.
Drink up,
You re dead

20.
Willow Cheer says:

dear Gawd or Gawdlike figure:
i will be
so thankful
when i can
GET PAID
to sell art to idiots

21.
My mind is my property

i will reject your views
the way you wash your car

TO CLEAN MY PROPERTY OF COMPILED FILTH

22.
Willow Cheer
has rights!

*i was born to sire pain*

23.
betcha too chicken
2 love a Loser

24.
Willow Cheer says:
I live
in
Tiny Disasters

25.
today i will build wings
made of insufficient material.
i will break my leg.
it will HURT

26.
Willow Cheer says:

an animal
has never
lied to
me

they know not how

what is truth?
what is is?
where is Isis s ice?

27.

Willow Cheer says:

i live in the trash
to fit my mood

28.
Willow Cheer says alone:

the
LOVE
of
SHE
will
make me
ICARUS

29.
Ladies best primp,
the MOON is coming out

30.
no-one shuts the f**k up
cant they see im trying to evolve?

31.
Dripping
with
DepARTure- TILL PUDDLES FORM

32.
Willow Cheer says:

i feel a miniature detonation

i will search for friends

33.
STOP
TO
COLLECT
WE T
PAPER

34.
Willow Cheer writes a book of rape

35.
Lovers
are smiling bombs

((Willow Cheer is forbidden from explosion))

36.
Willow Cheer dreams:

SHE
never finished
MY WINGS

37.
Your feelings matter to me like hungry seals
strongly
quietly
without actions

38.
IM
RUNNING
OUT
OF< br>WINTER

39.
Willow Cheer smiles

drug lullabies
are adrift
in Eastern night

40.
affection is a dumb hammer
((strength measured in temperature))

41.
one day
i
will
hug
the
OCEAN

42.
Some people nourish each other
with TOUCH

43.
Willow Cheer remembers:

i could make her jealous
with Childhood s wind
that pretty, lazy weathervane

44.

*Willow, who do you wait for? *

i watch others be BEAUTIFUL

it NEEDS
to be enough

45.
*where
does
Willow
Cheer< br>sleep*
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

IN

EA STERN

HELL

46.
Willow Cheer screams:

GREY ARROWS
give me an
- - - - -
IDEA
- - - - -

47.
Willow Cheer needs:

a MEADOW
to count
SHEEP

48.
I will blink for money

I will swim in gravel for peace

I will steer a torpedo for love

I will spit in a regal cape for freedom

49.
for wings
bones must
be pushed

50.
Willow Cheer waits:

for green men
in baggy buses
missing all their nerves

51.
one can never stop waiting
one can only choose to wait for something else

WAITING IS:

.breathing .difficult
.looking .quiet
.daydream .cold
.moontans .still
.rapid eye movement .awkward
.impatience .sexless
.boring .my hole life
.my #1 passtime .slow
.everywhere
52.

Beholding me that all the pageants play,
Disguysing diversly my troubled wits.
