I’m freezing up
Turning to stone
Don’t wanna grow cold
But it’s raining ice
Torrents of icy molten lava
Raining on me
Pouring on my soul
Chilling my marrow
Killing my whole
Don’t wanna grow cold
But I take the dagger
And stab my heart
Torrents of icy molten lava
Pouring on me
Raining on my soul
Killing my marrow
Chilling my whole
Don’t wanna grow cold
I dive into the toxic lake
Of cheating men
And fleeting lies
You’d think I’d be wise
It pours
This molten ice
Pours On my soul
Chilling my marrow
Killing my whole
Molten ice
Killing me twice
These lies

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
