Ice Poem by Minerva Agriam

Ice

You were like ice cream
To my picky taste,
Melting upon my mouth!

You tasted like candy,
Sweet and tasty,
Deliciously tempting.

Are you real, are you free?
Why you came and
Made my world lovely?

Ice melting upon my very eyes!
With soothing freshness,
Drowning me to yourself!

Ah, how sweet!
Delicious and fresh!
Ice of mine fresh!
