Idols In Kedarnath (Himalayas) Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Idols In Kedarnath (Himalayas)

The bureaucrats smuggle in the plains.
To steal the statues in hills, none strains.
They fear of the terrain
due to the burst of rain.
Awe of the shrine thwarts the aim of gains.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Due to cloudbursts in Kedarnath in an altitude of 12000 ft in Himalayas, thousands of people were washed away. Still rescuing operations by the army are going on.
