If Poem by Toshie Nohara

If

If I had an only son
I wouldn't give him a gun
'Cause he's truly precious
A godly gift to treasure

I woild love him very dearly
But won't ever give in quickly
'Cause a parent's love and responsibility
To teach obedience from childhood

I would give him a good education
But won't allow greedy possession
'Cause its the world's evil intention
A parent should caution

I would hope for his happiness
I would pray for his success
'Cause he's my only son I possess
A godly gift to treasure.
