If Ever Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

If Ever

I have one request; only one.
That is if you ever, I mean if
You ever walk, in the bellies
Of this canyon, at these feet,
Feet of this cliff; the straight
Brown shiny rock in the sun.

The vehicle, which possibly
You see, if anything from it
Is left to be seen; then open
The driver side door, to see
Bones, skeleton, that is me.
So you may ask how, why?

Well, here you are with the
Detail story that happened:
A leak had somehow taken
The break and I, confused
Stepped on gas; a mistake.
As eagles do, flew instead.

Is there anything left? So
Guess the rest; further go
But remind you the fruits
On any tree, is from roots
And the soil and its good
Fertilizer, water and food

Bombast shining is bright.
High-fly wording is might.
In the belly of this canyon
At the feet of a Rock-cliff
Think you; of full dreads
Non-right; none is correct

So you search for the rest
Surely if ever come across
That road; That is: If ever
