If He Returned To Earth Poem by Alex P..

If He Returned To Earth

Rating: 2.8

when He closed His eyes
sun did frown
a thousand skies
were crashing down
the bounce was cruel
and made Earth shake
He resembled a fool
on beholding His stake
thunder impetuously neared
throwing down life
in disbelief He peered
at two nations at strife

the forces continued their journey
left burned ground
where no soul would stay
- neverland filled with death’s sound

troops of Reapers on a journey
they left burned air and ground
where no soul would like to stay
- it’s neverland filled with only death’s sound

He’s helplessly crying
it’s raining tears
they can’t be lying
He can’t deny His fears

raindrops as heavy as steel
leaving His skin bleeding
killing every feel
His soul they’re eating
this all consumes Him
He becomes too slim
talks about other ways and peace
- a grudger wants to squeeze
the controversial stranger
wants His life in danger

martial law’s proclaimed
a hindered deserter accused
a hard sentence’s aimed
and justice was abused

when He was executed
spreading His arms He formed a cross
a divine human was muted
that’s mankind’s greatest loss

if He returned to Earth
He’d be killed every day again
we can’t remove this stain
it stays from birth to death

will we ever learn?
new hope can’t look like us
will we ever learn?
we repeat history’s mistakes
will we ever learn?
we gotta change something
will we ever learn?
it mustn’t go on like this
will we ever learn?
mankind soon will be extinct
then - too late to understand

Earth doesn’t need us
but we need Her
He doesn’t need us
but we need Him
