If I Could Poem by venessa ambrose

If I Could

Rating: 5.0

I watched her leave,
Taking hearts along,
Creating memories of pains,
Written in blood,
Inscribed in her eyes.
With one lucid look,
She gave her all,
And took none,
She left with glory,
Leaving tragedy.
The iron wheels,
Had her breath,
In strong grips,
Surrounded by angels.
And birds with black,
I tried to save her,
But the grips were strong,
Even the works of science,
Saved her not.
If I could,
Then I would,
Let the heavens fade,
Gently turn back the tick tuck blade.
Recreate the woes that fate has made.

Brilliant! A very nicely written and touching write that really moved me! This amazing write brought tears to my eyes for it reminded me of my beloved mother in her last days on Earth! It is not easy to face a sad reality of witnessing a loved one going forever! 10+++ Thank you for sharing and keep it up! God Bless You! Love and Peace for always! Romeo from New York City!
