With a single bullet
He ended it all
He pulled the trigger
He took the fall
I still hear his voice
It haunts my dreams
Telling me a smile
Might not be what it seems
His eyes didn't sparkle
Quite the same way
When he was hiding pain
Day after day
Pain of love
Pain of hate
By the time we found out
It was way too late
We couldn't save him
Though we had tried
