'If I Could Write A Song' Poem by Linda Winchell

'If I Could Write A Song'

Rating: 5.0

I’ve always wanted to write a song
So that the world could sing along.
To the words that I had jotted down
And most who heard them
God would be found.

The notes would be very easy to read
And all of them would plant a seed.
Into the hearts of those in need
If I could write a song.

If I could write a song that’s good
It would be everyone’s soul’s filling food.
No hunger for searching wisdoms need
For these songs words would be feed.
If I could write a song.
