If I had a penny
for every tear
I cried for you,
I would buy a bucket
to place them in
and throw them in the sea.

for every crack in my heart
that you gave me,
I would buy some glue
to piece it back together
then trade it for another.

If I had a penny
for every laugh
that we shared,
I would buy a photo album
to place them in
and cherish them forever.
