If I Were Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

If I Were

Rating: 5.0

If I were a bee
Flying around totally free
I would sting you my friend
Remember you squashed, my best friend
Your boot dropped down on him
Crushing the life into the asphalt
Yes, I would sting you
Again and again
For why you would ask if you knew my thoughts
Because you have no compassion for life
Just a big bully there with big boots
Take care, next it maybe the bull
He will gore you
For the reason you eat beef
There is one way out of this for you
If you only knew
Respect all life
But I know, you will not
So
I am going to sting you now
Your turn to say ouch, and have the pain
Now if I were a tiger ….
