If I Were To Use A Time Machine Poem by M D Dinesh Nair

If I Were To Use A Time Machine

If I were to use a time machine,
I would use it for a common good.
You bet on it
You have my word.
I would just straight travel to the point of time
When things began with a BIG BANG
I would try to stop God from creating anything
I would plead Him to no end.

No universe, no earth
And therefore no woes and tears
Would He agree to that?
He would not.

If God would still carve out things
In this disorder and colossal wastes again,
I would direct my time machine further
To travel further into the past!
To reach His time of 'origin'

God and I will then
Begin to create and share a world
Of all proportions and all equations
And He will whisper into my ears, 'I like you dear',
And I will write a poem on His love.
My time machine will wait for a flight
I will not take Him in it to the Earth of AD 20,400
For I know we/I may not return from there.

But where is my time machine?
I want to use it for a common good.

What a childish fancy Dinesh! Now be content with your wrist watch, so that you can plan your time in the best possible manner.... If you keep looking at the watch... you'll be surprised at the amount of time, you waste on this kind of hypothetical imagining! ! (joking)

Ha ha ha... it is a fantasy for a common good madam Valsa. In fact I thought of giving you a lift in my time machine but soon dropped the idea for you might stop the trip midway and would go to the Golgotha hills to weep over the Crucifixion without doing anything to thwart the execution of that great soul! [ joking too]. My wrist watch shows a time that is not correct.... Ha ha ha...

Shahziaji, the particle of altruism attributed to me is thankfully accepted as a good feel. Geetha, I said, If I were to travel... and it`s hypothetical thing. You have quoted about my going back to A.D 20,400 along with God. AD belongs to future, distant future from our AD 2013. Since you people cannot give me a time machine, I am not going to travel to past or future. That is the helplessness here. Thank you for reading and commenting.
