If It Would Happen So Poem by Liton Chakraborty Mithun

If It Would Happen So

In the pace of sky-piercing rocket,
If I could visit your heart-planet,
The pride of the moon-conquest would go in vain,
A milestone could be made in love-history.
If your autocratic monarchy
Could be assaulted by emotion-mutineers.
Then like a fragile glass
Marble-palace of your defiance be damaged.
If you saw with fellow feelings,
Would find rainbow drawn for you.
You could discover in your Sahara
A vivid fountain of green love.
