If These Walls Could Talk To You. Poem by Ashley Morrison

If these walls could only talk to you.
Or even grasp as to what you are going through.
Because these walls cannot talk, I will do so instead.
Trust me when I say you are not alone, don't wish that you were dead.
We all feel different heartaches and experience different pain.
But it is our tears that drown us, that keep us much more sain.
Life is not easy, that I could tell you.
It doesn't get much easier, this is true.
Hold on however, for dear mercy, put your heart out on the line.
Maybe if you do so, the end result, you could be just fine.
I hope you realize that you are not alone.
God is always here for you, you can figure that out on your own.
Give yourself time to grow, for this is just a phase.
I know your feeling trapped, like a never ending maze.
Hold your head up high, for people do love you and do care.
And for your own sake, your feelings continue to share.
