If They Knew Poem by Rachael Mills

If They Knew

Rating: 4.0

If they knew what was in my head
All the dreams, loneliness and dread
They would only pity me an watch
As I continue down this path alone
They would feel sorry for me
Maybe pray for my comfort and peace
But no one would ever get close
Give me a hug or genuine love and care
To them I would be crazy
Broken and untouchable
If only they could see through my eyes
And see how lonely it is being me
