truly a great poem, it portrays the pure feeling of love in the most practical way and teaches all youngsters to move on in life no matter how there love-story ends! (Report) Reply

While it may seem so sad at first, it is actually a very realistic view of love, why dwell in unrequited love? (Report) Reply

to forget is to let go? or is it a state of denial, a defense mechanism? why do we wish to forget when we really don't want to? to keep the pain from escalating, from further ruining us? But we like the pain, we revel in it.

Neruda sure knows how to pierce the heart. (Report) Reply
