If you only loved me
if you only cared
then we could find our paradise
and live forever there somewhere.

If you only wanted me
the way that I want you
then we could live together
in a perfect harmony

However, there are barriers
we both have to over come.
We have lives complicated
that won’t let our dreams through.

If only life was simpler
if only our lives were free,
we could enjoy the happiness
everyone wants us to enjoy.
