Ifs And Tiffs Poem by John Sensele

Ifs And Tiffs

If everybody accommodated common sense
There'd be more peace because no one would offend
Others to invite spite, malice and violence
Then there'd be nothing wrong to mend.

If moms and dads loved one another to the fullest
Bliss would reign supreme and there'd be more laughter
To keep the lawyer away from us and the best
Atmosphere to grow will be for offspring, son and daughter.

If boyfriends and girlfriends were truly open
To full transparency relationships would last
And no partner would screech and sharpen
Tools of dispute which aside they'll cast.

If the whole world adopted clean technology
There'd be no climate change or global warming
Horse sense would promote friendly biotechnology
And genetically modified seed wouldn't be swarming.
