Illusion Of Existence - Incomprehension Poem by Joshua C. Whiting

Illusion Of Existence - Incomprehension

Rating: 4.8

Strange indeed the ways of the lost
Terrible the price, fatal the cost
Depraved humans quickly depart
Trammeled beneath wheels of Satan’s cart

Sweet life, have yet to comprehend thee
Seeking, gaping to clearly see
Love: Eternal compassion of happiness?
Could it vanish with sudden rapidness?

Hatred: Epitome of negativity
Devours soul, spirit without validity
Erie dreams forever plague consciousness
Emerging material of sub-consciousness

Dreaded uncertainty stifles mentality
Spurs awareness of challenging reality
Adaption, process required for change
Or wander the world unfit, deranged

Peer not through clouded lens
Perceptions require frequent cleanse
The least you can do to help restore
Some semblance of harmonious rapport

Creativity: Art of free expressing
Serendipity: An accidental blessing
It all borders on incomprehension
Illusion of existence, scarcely mentioned
