im sorry that i could'nt see you
before you went away
im missing you already and
its only been a day
i want to go with you
away from this place
why did you have to leave?
was it your time?
i need you back
so i can see you for one more day
it has been years since i have seen you
could'nt you have waited
until i saw you again
now i can only see you in my dreams
but as you rise up to the heavens
i want you to know
i love you
and
you will always be in my heart
as i think of you everyday and night
