Imaginary Reflection Poem by A Dark Lifetime ...

Imaginary Reflection

Ending a dream with all the lies
A bird that that doesn't open her eyes
Somehow its all a beautiful truth
Forever draining pure youth
Mirrors show you a reflection
Of your hearts pale perfection
And sadly this rain is not pure
Its toxicated for sure...

So where do I hide from the monsters?
Do I keep my eyes closed till its all a blur?
Let me go
Somewhere far away from my imagination
Reality come to me...

So begin with a new way
Where the gods follow every word you say
Mind my word, my movement, my voice
That a terrifying hopeless choice
Mirrors hide me from myself again
I don't wont the other me as a friend
She is the other side of me
She is toxicating again you see...

Where do I face these dark monsters?
Are they all so toxicated like her?
Let us go
Where we can live again in our imagination
Reality just fade away
Reality just cant stay....

marvelous dear Jelena i think this poem is about me.the reflection is just like me.when i look inside the mirror but i dont know who i see. is he me? contradictions between me and me.you have mentioned she is the other side of you but i see he is not the other side of me.he is a stranger. do we have to really face with these monsters. while i was reading this poem i thought this is me, or my life reflecting in this poem tnx~nb
