Imaginary Time Poem by David Harris

Imaginary Time

Rating: 5.0

There are times when we think
time rushes by too quick
and other times when
it just seems to drag along.
When you are waiting for something to happen
time seems to go slow,
yet when something happens.
Something nice for you
and you want to prolong time.
You can bet on these occasions
time seems to race by.
Having said all that,
time moves at a steady pace
and never alters its speed.
It is only our imagination,
which thinks it moves
fast and slow.

Why when your happy does time fly so fast, when you want to savour every second that goes past, oh my god when at work, time downs tools and goes off to sherk... Andy 10
