Imagination Poem by Michelle Hanes

Imagination

In a land of peace,
Imagination lies, where?
Well, where else besides
Your Mind?

Pigs fly, Children lie
On giant poofy clouds
Grow some wings, then you sing
perfectly, like an angel
Sit and pray, there where you lay
For something good to happen

Anything or everything
Who cares, you say
You jump, then land without a bump,
Free of bruise or injury
You on the ground, on a hill pr mound
To start a new adventure

In a land of peace,
Imagination lies, where?
Well, where else besides
Your Mind?

Unicorns, with pretty horns,
Jutting out their head
Rhinoceros, sleeping with bliss
Littered in the distance
You look, you see, you beg and plea,
'What can I do, the possibilities are endless! '

Who knows, but no one shows
The answer which you seek
You wonder, you ponder
You think till it hurts
What you can do, is up to you,
But you can do whatever you please...

In a land of peace,
Imagination lies, where?
Well, where else besides
Your Mind?
