Imagination Poem by Nitya Swaruba

Imagination

Rating: 4.5

A load of absurdity with beauty
My head's a fortress of dreams
No one's up there to stop me
Whatever is, rules my extremes

A moment is all I need
To picture a thing in my mind
Where it looks, there I see
My eyes sort of go blind

I imagine what just happens
When it does though I'm surprised
For a moment it's greek and latin
Then I fall in love with the disguise

What feeds it matters a lot
Cause that's what life follows
Happiness is with what I start
To imagine what I already know

My partner for all infinity
Is this sweet sense of imagination
I shake hands with a divinity
Amid a love free of fixation.

An insightful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned in heightened poetic diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing Nitya.
