Imagine living a life full of heartache and pain;
Your heart broken so many times
Discovering that life is full of dissappointments and people who will deceive you.
Imagine feeling overpowered and violated sexually
And thinking nothing of it,
Not mentally aware by what's happening to you in the midst of your tragedy.
Too young and naive to realize because you thought you were in love.
Imagine being sexually confused,
Experiencing nothing but manipulation and violation
And being robbed of something that was precious to you.
So vulnerable you fail to lift your head and take back what was taken from you.
Failing to say no with meaning and assertiveness.
Your body was your temple
Until it was violated over and over again.
Just imagine losing yourself in the darkness,
Imagine feeling extreme guilt and being emotionally and physically drained.
Your tears are pouring down like that of a heavy rainstorm,
that doesnt seem to end.
Imagine being in that rainstorm;
Imagine being me.
