Immediate Arrival Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Immediate Arrival

Rating: 5.0

I stood motionless
As there were bruises on his face
His body was lying on open road
The truck had knocked and passed over him with load

Some of the body parts were totally crushed
He was breathing his last and was almost finished
He was breathing slowly and I wondered about tragic end
In no time he will be on the way to heaven and dead

Many vehicles passed by but no one cared
I was in shock still gathered courage and dared
Dialed for ambulance and waited for its arrival
Next may be course of postmortem and his burial

Many people come across such tragic events
None of us care and respond to tragic moment
First and foremost is to call immediate help
If need be we should carry him by self

If some moments are afforded
The life can be easily saved
Precious life can be brought back to normal
If timely help is rendered on immediate arrival
