Imploding Thoughts
Twisted reasons
internally turn
into the logic
that imperils my thoughts,
that greases my mind
with slick glossy rhyme
and my clever creations are fraught
with the unseen mines
of unmetered lines
and the smooth
flavored cadence is lost
in words that tend
to worship themselves
and the whole poem
implodes in itself.

Perceptive.
Especially appreciated the lines: ...in words that tend/ to worship themselves...
Worthwhile offering!
Very well written. Particularly like the twisted reason.
