Impossibilities In The World Poem by Aylissa Ramirez

To smile no more,
to laugh no more,
to be happy no more,
to not be myself anymore,
and not to love you anymore,
are impossibilities in the world.

Because I will
attempt to have a real smile,
attempt to not have a fake laugh,
attempt to be at my happiest,
attempt to be myself,
and attempt not to love you,
but again it wont follow through.
Because those are impossibilities in the world.

When I’m with you I will,
always be smiling,
always be laughing,
always be happy,
always be myself,
and always love you,
and even if I’m not with you,
I will always till never love you.
And don’t think that’s an impossibility.

What I want for you to do is
smile because we’re friends,
laugh at our memories,
be happy because you have someone
be yourself, you don’t have to lie to make others happy
and love whom you want,
Because those are most definitely not impossibilities in the world.
