Imposter Poem by Tsunami HiroshiSu

Imposter

Gone away and in your place they left an imposter
Someone with the gaul to wear your face
To use your voice
Your lovely voice

It's poisoned now
Tainted
With that imposter's oil

All I need is matches
His charade will go up in smoke
You will come back to me and we will be whole again
When he's gone
The imposter inhabiting your body
The imposter hurting me
Like you never would

What happened to you?
Where did you go?
Are you ever coming back?
Is he here to stay?
An imposter in your room
Your shoes
Your scent

Did you ever really love me
Or was it part of your act
Imposter
Don't come back.
Ever.
