Imprisoned Poem by Chanel Jackson

Imprisoned

Rating: 5.0

Alone,
words resounding,
bouncing against
the cold, hard, eerie walls
of my brain.
Thoughts
Never revealed,
Myself,
Barred behind them
Imprisoned.
nothing to do
but lay on a cold, hard,
uninviting bed
tallying the days
‘til I’m freed of these words unsaid.
