In A 100 Years Poem by one man alone

In A 100 Years

Rating: 2.8

Sacrifice my sanity
believe in what is said
the rhymes just float away
but return me when I'm dead

take my soul to heaven
for hell I see to clear
friends don't have my back
and god is not my peer

will they say that I was crazy
in a hundred years time
broken by his childhood
and died without a dime

will they say that I'm a lost soul
or that I just hated life
do I die a lonely man
will I die without a wife

can they feel the flow
or just see the dark side of my eyes
can they see the fearless
or do they feel my cries

god took him on his blind side
will he take me that way to
rhymes that hold my heart
was only told to you

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

How sad... and beautiful. not often do I find poems that touch me like that. You have a talent, you speak from your heart.... never stop... for that is your gateway to love. I pray you find wherever it be.
