In A Nursing Home Poem by Eve Anderson

In A Nursing Home

The people come and go
That it feels slow
They depend on you
And need your help to
They make you laugh
They make you listen
A caring ear
Is what is here
You become attached
And hope it lasts
A home scenery
Is what you see
They need you to talk
Or help them walk
They are all special
In their own way
Which makes you want to stay
Always in a day

My daughter works in one. I like the portrayal. Very nice piece. Steve
