when you look up at the sky above
what do you see
wonder beauty
or broken dreams shattered hearts
when you look at the moon above do
you make a wish
when you see a star that is so bright
does a tear come to your eye
do you ever wonder where all the magic went
where broken dreams of such beauty
where innocent lies
where wish on millions of stars go
do you wish to the heavens above
hoping for a better tomorrow
do you ever wonder where it all goes
all the hope all the prayer
all the wonder all the dis pare
its hear in our children s eyes
in the hope renewed
in the pure beauty of innocent
in the knowing
they have the power to be anything
the magic is our children
the despair that one day they will be hurt
