In Honor Of Li Po: Remember Years Ago: To Christy

In Honor of Li Po: Remember Years Ago

There were tequilas all around.
A twenty year old girl from Santa Ana
With red lipstick and dark eyes
Was wearing a smile and little else.

Though she spoke of average things
Her lips and hips were anything but!
We ate and drank together
Until she settled into my bed.

And there, beneath the rough covers,
The ripened snapdragons grew.
How could I deny
Her seductions?
