In Honor Of My Friend Tyler Poem by Naomi Waters

In Honor Of My Friend Tyler

Rating: 5.0

An Evergreen
Lost in the wind
A cry
A tear
Hope ebbing away
A crash
A flame
Among the wreckage you were lost
Truth discovered
I refuse to believe
Shock
Denial
Anger
Sadness
Acceptance
Now i see you everywhere
I hear you in the wind
I see you among the trees
The day I lost you i dread
A reminder
A promise
Celebrating without you
The ghost of your laughter I hear
The last page of your story
Time passes but some wounds wont heal
And one day I know
That I will see you again
Goodbye my friend

I can't imagine what it must feel like to witness such a tragic end. Myself, and those close to me, have been blessed in our longevity. My condolences Rose. May your friend forever be remembered through your beautiful words
