In Humor's Way - Poem by paul bamberger

Rose Mangano came by her death through days pounded into obscurity by little
whacks of determination
take to the wilderness road dear friend
to where the bear's been seen crossing
there you will find a willow tree
on which coyote has scratched his mark for all to see he’s been dreaming again
the sorcerer waits
ride with her on the wind of the sorcerer’s trade
and know the joke is on you
