As I saw his face
I fell in love
He was everything I ever dreamed of
He doesn’t love me
Maybe even like me
I wish everything on earth was perfect
But it’s earth
Nothings perfect
Almost everyone falls in love
Yet
Some don’t
It’s like the cycle of life
Almost
I wish he would talk to me
Say hi to me
Ask me out on a date
I know that day will come
The day pigs start to fly
You’re like a pair perfect shoes
And i’m the pair that’s torn and old
I hate to feel this way about me
It hurts to feel sorrow
I’ll see you tomorrow
You won’t wave
Or say hi
You’ll just walk by
