In Memories Of.......
i sit at the roof top with a piece of paper and pen thinking of what to write
but the only thing i think about is the memories of you
so dear were you to me, i can never forget all we shared
in times of trouble you would come to my rescue
when i needed someone to talk to you were ever ready to listen
i loved you so much and still love you.
still at the roof top, uncontrollable tears roll down my eyes
i cannot believe the fact that you are no more
the only thing i can do is hold on to your loving memories
those of love, kindness, perseverance, patience unity and truth
because to you, those were important keys to hold onto life
for these i still love you
i try to console myself, but i find you doing the consoling
telling me you are in a much more better place
because you have found solace with GOD
and that you wish we all would stop crying but instead laugh
and thank GOD that you are with his angels watching over us
i still love you and you would forever be in my heart.
rest in the very perfect peace of GOD.
This is absolutely touching..although i never experienced losin a loved one but i can feel your indepth pain..May God console you, and bring back to you all that you lost..I know this feelin can never be replaced by any but he's still high up there tellin you that he's always with you...GOD....
You touch my heart this morning Tayo, I can relate to every word in this amazing poem. I too feel the heart pains of a loved one, my precious husband. Although the tears will fall from time to time, we can be happy and find peace in the fact that the suffering is no more. We find peace knowing that they are in a much better place, a place of happiness, a paradise where no pain lives, a place where no bills to worry about, a place of comfort, joy, solace, a place to rejoice and worship our Heavenly Father, a place to live an everlasting, glorious life. Oh Tayo, your words are spledid, they are glorified by the love of God, I thank you for lifting me up this morning with the help of our Father in Heaven, he guides you and will continue to comfort you as you remember the one you respect and love. --Melvina--
