In Memory Of Pop Poem by Barbara Keyser

In Memory Of Pop

To My Dad I Love you

I'm sad that you had to leave us so soon It was a cold winter day a bit after twelve noon I don't know when I'll see you again I can see Mom
weeping almost at her end We're not sure what we're suppose to do.
Just hold on tight to each other and we'll make it through When the Angels told you to come with them I saw that you were afraid But you flew with them anyway You left us with fond memories some old and some new How I remember sitting with you I'll always remember our conversations and laughs You always wanted to keep me on the right path When I would wander you would shy away But you would always turn around and meet me halfway I know you are watching me from above I will talk to you daily with all of my love As long as the sun shines there will be hope in those rays That I will see you again someday You will be forever in my heart and always on my mind And Dad if I forgot to tell you, You were the best Dad a son could ever ask for and truly you were my Best Friend
