In My Dream Poem by suvrishti jain

In My Dream

In my dream, i saw a face,
Smart and handsome, walking with pace.
Towards me, he started coming,
Within me, my heart started bumping.
What he would say, inside i feared,
He approached me, came near and nearer.
He looked at me, and turned towards my parents,
I never thought, my dream to be that clear and transparent.
He started talking, to my parents so nicely,
as i desired, him to act that wisely.
His presence made the scenario, so lively and vibrant,
With his every gaze, my veins got some current.
His persona, his style, everything about him was so admiring,
i knew that he's the one, for whom my heart's door bell will gonna ring.
He was still standing there, i wondered what took him so long,
And in my heart i was praying, things shouldn't go now wrong.
He would drive me crazy, i thought that never,
ι wished him to call my name, right now and for forever.
Then suddenly he turned to me, i felt within me some nervousness,
whats gonna happen next, was very difficult for me to guess.
He came so closer, my heart stopped beating for a while,
He held my hand, and gave me such a sweet smile.
Wedding bells started ringing for me, with his proposal,
I was on cloud nine, my parents too gave us their approval.
Now i was sure, He's mine, only mine Adonis,
He took me in his arms, to give me that magical kiss.
Then certainly alarm started ringing, and my dream went off,
But this search for my man, is never gonna stop.
In my dream, i will see that face again,
But this time together, holding hands and dancing in the rain.
In reality too, we will gonna meet soon,
Both will get wedlock, in the season next to monsoon.....
