In My Earnest Quest Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

In My Earnest Quest

In my earnest quest

In my earnest quest
Whom do I request?
For simple assurance
And assistance

I am always threaded
With life and mislead
For acceptance
Of others experience

Each one is shadowing
And not allowing
Free practicing of religion
In the place called region

We can't take easy breathe
Open space for us is death
We are surrounded as goats
Slaughtered in a manner to cut throats

How to feel free from inside?
With differences so wide
No one raises concern
Hall is let loose in turn

Where shall we find holy land?
And prayer's ground
To bow down
For a name carved in own heart
