In my life time

In my life time, somewhere in the past
Everything went smooth until things started going fast
In my life time, I have experienced too much pain
I had a lot of ambitions, dreamt of vacations in Spain

In my life time success was all I ever visualised
Lived by instincts, driven by ego and pride until I realised
Always thought it will be easy to make it
Until I realised everybody like me is striving to bake it
In my life time I have seen many of my friends fall
Travelled the country trying to get tall

In my life time I am grateful for all the wisdom
Defeated the odds, always prayed for inner peace
In my life time I have seen my nation change
All I knew kept changing, in my life time

Everywhere I go people kept evolving
Everyday my life was occupied with solving
In my life time I have been through too much pain
I had a lot of ambitions, dreamt of a vacation in Spain
