In My Own Mind
In my own mind, you are only a dream
My Loves lust is too loud to be controlled.
My heart beats for you like the sun in roll.
In my own thoughts, you're all that it so seems
You are so fair, like suffers sun, you beam.
You tidy yourself as a lady should.
Combing your lovely hair as brown as wood.
But Alas! I forget, it is a dream.
But my dream should not end with just desire,
Why not build my strength? To capture on it.
To tell her so quaint, what my heart aspires
And embrace her, like a glove with fine knit.
To whisper to her, that my heart was bought.
With this my darling, is what my dreams sought.
