Get me out to darkness that trapped me within
Life that was made by my unworthy choice
Blinded by the carelessness before
Now building my life to a new and better life

People have judged, people have seen
Some of them I have trust and love
In the darkness I’ve learned to embrace the light
Live my life away to what my past had created

You came along with that light my love
Once again I found the strength to fight
I found the importance of what I neglected before
The life of being good, the life of being in love

I need you here to be my strength
I need you here to give me inspiration
You are the one that makes me be a better man
With you I know I can be the man I want to be

I know I cant make that future with one day
But every step I take now is for our brighter tomorrow
Im a man with confidence and a man with dignity
And I know within myself I’ll be successful someday

Give me chance to let me show you what I can do
I promise you I’ll never let those dreams slip away
With you my love, it easier for me to step up
For with you I found my true happiness, the one I’m missing before

These words I know are easier said than done
Somewhere down the road there’ll be obstruction
But with hard work, dedication, and inspiration
The seeds I plant today will soon be growing for us

And I need you my true love
You challenge me to be a better man
I need you to believe, I need your warmth embrace
For you give me peace in myself, you heal me with your love

I’m doing this not for others to trust me, to like me
But im doing this for us, for our children, for our family
Im doing this because I want to give you the best in this world
