I write in praise of freedom
of not feeling the burden of captivity
but feeling free
like a bird in the sky,
a fish in the sea
and as a human being without fear
for speaking out loud
words of truth and protest
against the oppressors
of the countries they live in

I write in praise of freedom
a right
given by birth to every person
regardless of their origin
and irrespective of their faith or belief
for freedom is a gift
with which
every human being is born
but also a right
for that same human being
to live and die with
