Love and lust
Pain and grief
Conflict and clashes-
All are touched by it.
Life doesn't spare anybody.
A man and a woman
Have to sort out together
Conflicting emotions
Of heart and mind.
Their past experiences,
As well as present environment,
Peaceful or volatile
Affect their relationship.
In stable surroundings
Of marriage, discords
Evolve and dissolve
Like bubbles in water.
Time is still the biggest healer.
A lone traveler or the happy partners
Eventually all sigh and submit to life,
But a soul full of love remains alive.
A thoughtful poem on life, mariage and love A lone traveler or the happy partners Eventually all sigh and submit to life, But a soul full of love remains alive.A universal truth in a nut shell
Such a nice poem, Savita. Read my poem, Love and L u s t. Thanks.
Marriage being a contract or agreement between a man and a woman for a loving and peaceful life the individual commitment to it should sincerely be sacrificial? Wherever the commitment lacks ethical values the relation goes strained. But true love overcomes all indifferences.
When two people of different mental and physical make up from different backgrounds come together in marriage, there can be difference of opinion and conflicts. But some adjustment and a lot of love can resolve all differences. However life is a balancing game and we should have the spirit of a practised acrobat. You have probed into the problems that can encounter the married couple and have suggested solutions!
